This year has looked very different for Mustard as we’re sure it has for you too. With the closing of schools in Term 2, we were unable to run any of our Mustard Live events. Whilst this was disappointing, we were reminded that in all things God works for the good of those that love him. So we didn’t stop and put everything on hold, we adapted.

Mustard has lots of work to do to keep up with these changing times, and we’d love you to be part of this journey. Here’s just a few goals we have for this year:

Seeds of Change Resource-05

Mustard Live Co-ordinator $25,000

Seeds of Change Resource-02

Resourcing and mentoring Lunchtime Groups (52x$200) $10,400

Seeds of Change Resource-03

Video Series on COVID Pandemic (3x$2000) $6,000

Seeds of Change Resource-04

Mustard Web-App Updates $5,000

Seeds of Change Resource-05

Development of Regional and Interstate Network $5,000

Seeds of Change Resource-09

We will be updating this as our goals are met!

These are some big goals, but ones that will see Mustard flourish in this season of change. Whilst the world seems to be standing still at the moment, Mustard will continue to forge ahead to reach out to students with God’s good news.

Partner with us to see young people empowered to be fully alive forever!

THE MUSTARD STUDENT MOVEMENT

With our Student Movement, which consists of 46 Lunchtime Groups around Victoria, five in South Australia and one in Scotland, we supported our student leaders in running their groups online. We launched our Web-App platform which enable students to have ready access to Bible study resources and leadership training. Furthermore, we recently appointed our first regional co-ordinator in Geelong and are looking to expand our regional and national networks.

MUSTARD LIVE

The COVID experience opened up an opportunity for us to start producing video material that we can promote to schools throughout Australia and will be used in Mustard’s live presentations and Lunchtime Groups. Our first set of videos addresses issues arising from the COVID pandemic – Worry, Suffering and Community.  This may be the start of Mustard becoming a premium provider of Christian resources to schools!
