HEY CHURCHES!
Does your church desire to see young people take ownership of their faith?
Have you found that some young people find it hard to talk about their faith at school,
and feel a disconnect between their ‘church world’ and ‘school world’?
Maybe a few veteran youth group goers are asking “is there more to faith than this”?

We at Mustard believe that church and home are where a young person’s faith is formed, nurtured and grown.
However, we’ve also found that school is often where their same faith is challenged, suppressed or forgotten.
With this, we hold to the simple belief that in order for a young person to live out their faith, they need to live it out at:

We are passionate about empowering young people to be fully alive forever, to own their faith and live it out boldly in their schools.
So we know that your church doesn’t need:
Another program to run.
Another event to attend.
Another curriculum to use.
Instead, we aim to partner with you and support the discipleship journey you are already taking with your young people. We seek to help you ensure that their faith is just as relevant at school as it is at youth group.

INTENTIONALLY
Redefine the context
… of schools as a place where young people can experience relevant faith.
Connect them to others
… in their school context so they aren’t doing it alone.
Move them out
… within their schools, owning their faith in action.
STRATEGICALLY
Sustain the momentum
… from high impact moments by providing a practical way forward.
Play to the rhythm
… of young person’s week so they continue to engage with faith day to day.
Partner together
… in supporting them as they thrive.
… and doing all these without completely messing up your youth group’s unique program/strategy/rhythm etc.
If this is something your church is interested in pursuing, the first step is to start a conversation with us. Even if you don’t feel like your church is ready to go the extra mile, something as simple as contacting us and connecting your young people up to existing Lunchtime Groups can make a massive difference.
Coffee’s on us.
